Classroom teachers, teacher educators, parents, and all who have a passion for teaching children and youth in grades K-12, submit your writings on any subject to the editor for peer review and, if accepted, will be posted on our website. When retired, documents will be archived and available to other scholars. All submissions should be double-spaced and limited to 1500 words.
Ohio's Twice Exceptional Students: A Status Study
This PDF file contains a review of state education agency regulations and policies, an analysis of a survey of gifted coordinators and gifted education service providers and two case studies of youngsters who are twice exceptional (gifted with disabling conditions). In addition, annotated bibliographies of twice exceptional and organizations for exceptionalities are included. The Appendix includes the technical report of the survey and focus group documents.
